Description: Hotpot is a staple of kitchens around the country, and Lancashire Hotpot is probably the best known and is found in homes and very posh restaurants. Essentially it is layered potato sliced thinly, mutton or lamb and onion. But you can make your own! You can also try all kinds of ingredients to make the hotpot either less expensive or more cheffy as you require. Try minced beef for a cheaper option.
