Marvellous! What can I say? These are my favourite little extra with a curry, a BBQ or anything.
140 g Gram Flour or half and half with plain flour
4 Tablespoons od yoghurt mixed with 5 tablespoons of water
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1/2 teaspoon each of cumin, chilli powder, turmeric, salt and garamasalata
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
2 Tablespoons coriander, chopped
1 large onion chopped
oil for frying
1 sift the flour, spices and salt and pepper into a mixing bowl and stir in the yoghurt and water mixture
Add the onion and coriander and mix well
Heat sufficient oil in a wok or pan to come 1/3 the way up the sides
Fry tablespoons of the mixture at a time until deep golden brown and crispy |
