As a survivor of child abuse and neglect, I use my personal experiences and professional knowledge to serve as a role model for youth. I remind them their potential does not have to be overshadowed by their circumstances. By sharing my story, I hope to help similarly disadvantaged or abused children see their obstacles become hurdles. I'm a dedicated mental health and social service provider, and I use my personal and field experience to create powerful and vivid images in my publications. Through life's journey, I discovered it is best to accept life for what it is, never take it for granted and stay REAL and LOYAL.
