	Description:		After high school graduation, I enrolled at Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, AL. I felt free enough to begin sharing my writing, and eventually joined the poetry club. I developed great friendships within the greater community Huntsville Art and Soul. Shortly after my poetry experience, Award The Poet was fully born. I met the Word Speak crew, and a year later it was the Nashville Poetry Society. After that experience, Southern Fried Poetry Slam, and I traveled to the national poetry slam in Austin. I left out I've published three books of poetry, a novel, and acted in plays. I'm also a recording artist, and I've been interviewed numerous times for all forms of media. I also own a marketing consultation company. I feel my work speaks for itself, read it, watch it, and experience it. I live a blessed life, and I'm grateful for all that I have and will achieve.
