Countless hours of therapy and a 10-month family road trip in an RV helped her redefine happiness on her own terms. she writes and speaks to others about how they, too, can become happier, more grateful, and more confident in their own abilities to figure out what works for them. Laurel is a “recovering engineer”. she quit her mechanical engineering job to work for myself 6 years ago. Today, I’m a musician photographer in Nashville, TN and also a blogger and podcaster at Go Fire Yourself—a site created to provide advice, useful tools and inspiration for entrepreneurs/artists/authors who want to quit their day jobs, run their own profitable businesses and live life on their own terms.
