Curtis: Hi everybody, it's Curtis and Amy here from RealEnglishConversations.com. Today we're going to be talking about a really fun activity that we like to do at this time of year, and that's camping. Right?
Amy: Yeah, it's one of our favorite activities. We definitely enjoy it a lot. And when did people normally go camping?
Curtis: Usually when the weather starts to get a little bit nicer and warmer.
Amy: Yeah, kind of right now, right? This year...
Curtis: In the spring.
Amy: Yeah, spring has been a little bit early this year. I would say in our region, we call it the May long weekend1. That's the traditional weekend that everybody's, “ah, it's camping season.” And they get all excited about it. So what types of campers are there? There's different types of campers, right?
Curtis: Yeah. I can think of one right off the top of my head right now, and that's kind of like a person that goes into the bush2 with a backpack, with all they can carry.
Amy: Into the bush is like into the forest, the great outdoors2. Into the wilderness2, right?
Curtis: So they take whatever they can carry into an area where they can set up a tent, and maybe there's a lake nearby that they, you know, want to spend some time fishing at. So they can pack in a fishing rod, and carry...
