Premiering tomorrow at the Chinese Theaters in Hollywood, the film UnFix tells the story of Ari, who, at the young age of 11, is subjected to Conversion Therapy after a brief encounter with another boy. Fast forward to Ari's life at 35, where he leads a seemingly content existence as a happily heterosexual individual, convinced that he has been "fixed." However, the outbreak of a pandemic sends his world into upheaval, reigniting dormant questions about his authentic self and casting doubt on his previous identification as gay.
We talk to writer/director Graham Streeter and his husband, executive producer Alex Lebosq. Graham Streeter is best known for his award winning feature films I May Regret (2019), Imperfect Sky (2016), Blind Malice (2013). academically acclaimed documentary Boys in Peril (2013) and Cages (2006) featuring Zelda Rubinstein and Oscar Nominee Mako Iwamatsu. Alex comes from a background as a TV commercial producer and business affairs manager. He has executive produced the films Blind Malice (2013), Imperfect Sky (2016), and I May Regret (2019).
