In my second interview with astrologer Gray Crawford released on this Gemini New Moon eve, we discuss the Uranus opposition, considered by many to be one of the most significant ‘mid-life crisis’ transits in which the influence of Uranus – the Great Liberator – is emphasized in the individual’s life and one has the potential to break free from past limitations, roles and identities. Gray illuminates the concept of the guardian daimon and the long-term memory of the soul that guides our destiny, even in those moments when we feel at the mercy of fate.
This episode was recorded just prior to the United Astrology Conference (UAC) in Chicago this past May. Synchronicstically, Gray is currently experiencing his Uranus opposition and was invited to speak on this very topic in a surprise twist of fate and at the last minute… very Uranian indeed. Gray’s stellar UAC talks Radical Awakening: The Uranus Opposition and The Light and Shadow of Mercury in the Secondary Progressed Chart can be purchased through the UAC conference website. To follow Gray’s work or to book an astrological consultation with him, visit his website www.graycrawford.net.
I also share some of my personal highlights from the 2018 UAC Conference including some themes that emerged around the concept of mythology as the language of the soul, elevating astrology into the realm of soul work. Also, be sure that you’re on the Radiant Astrology email list to be notified of my upcoming events this summer: the July/Aug eclipse circle, Astrology University’s Fresh Voices Summit and New Paradigm Astrology’s Summer of Love!
