	Description:		Uranus has entered Taurus and its certainly made its presence known – from political uprisings, to Earth-shattering events and, sadly, to more acts of gun violence – Uranus transitioning from Aries to Taurus has done so with the shock and awe many astrologers anticipated. In this first part of a 2-part series, I chat with astrologer astrologer Gray Crawford on the significance of the ingress of Uranus into Taurus. Gray is one of my absolute favorite astrology writers online. I find his articles exceptionally insightful and poetic so it was such a pleasure to have him as my guest and hear his vision of the astrological influences. In our discussion, Gray and I look at some of the recent world events from the perspective of Uranus’ shift from the elemental Fire sign of Aries into the Earth sign of Taurus. We also look at the potential – both personally and collectively – we might expect to see as this transit continues to unfold over the coming 8 years. Gray also provides some insight on the square from volatile Mars in Aquarius, the first of three Mars-Uranus squares this year as Mars will be retrograde from June to August. Gray Crawford is an astrologer who weaves both modern and traditional techniques into his works and draws from diverse astrological influences including Dane Rudhyar, Evolutionary Astrology, Hellenistic Astrology and the Hermetic Arts.
