	Description:		In this episode of The Radiant Astrology Podcast, I’ll be discussing the Goddess Lilith and her symbolism of the empowered feminine. My guest is Evolutionary Astrologer Kristin Fontana, host of the Guiding Stars Radio Show. Lilith is considered the Triple Dark Goddess: Black Moon Lilith, the Dark Moon Lilith and Natural Lilith. In the introduction, I share some of my observations and experience in using Black Moon Lilith, which is a point is space of the apogee of the lunar orbit, furthest from the Earth. BML is symbol of the healing that arises through experiences of facing our shadow and our fears of rejection, patriarchal oppression and shame to arise to an authentic sense of self. The Dark Moon Lilith, according to astrologer Demetra George, is a symbol of “our period of exile where the rejected shadow becomes distorted by the anguish of our pain. As it festers, it poisons our psyche with images of revenge and retaliation.” In the ancient worship of the Dark Goddess, “dark” was not negative as it referenced the darkness of the womb and the sacredness of transformation. However, patriarchal distortion has turned Lilith into a symbol of destruction to be feared. *My guest Kristin Fontana discusses the significance of Natural Lilith, also known as the Asteroid Lilith, as a symbol of a woman’s original feminine design. Kristen uses Asteroid Lilith and her Nodal Axis as a Holy Trinity in the evolutionary path of a woman returning to her true self – beyond the patriarchal distortions of society – as she reclaims her power, becoming whole unto herself.
