This week, the boss men, Jordan Shallow and Jordan Jiunta are reunited to discuss the release of RX’D Programming. Based on the principles that founded Pre-Script, RX’D Programming is intentionally designed to address the mobility and stability of the hip, shoulder and spine; with mobility and stability rooted as the body’s foundational framework, an increase in strength is attainable. The Jordans discuss the principles of an appropriate, and intentional warm-up routine, and the purpose it serves to introduce you to your day’s training, as well as to provide you an active recovery from that training, too. Assessing mobility and then constantly testing for variability, capacity, and power is integral to the progression and design of RX’D Programming. Shallow highlights the importance of putting in the reps and sets not just within the novelty of the “Big 3” lifts, but also within the preparation -- the movements that set the athlete up to produce maximum force output under the bar -- the movements that set you up to be strong. You can expect the usual banter between the duo this week, like a treatise on stripper names, declassified UFO photos, murder hornets in America, and Tiger King. GET RX’D PROGRAMMING, and GET MOVING.
