After ITV's Jonathan Penny took part in an interview on RNIB Connect Radio, he received many requests from blind and partially sighted listeners hoping to take part in a user group on audio description.
The panel would look at the current AD offering and suggest improvements to delivery and the accessibility of the broadcaster's platforms.
RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell caught up with Jonathan to find out what changes have been made to the audio description offering, what changes are in store for apps like ITV Hub and what's coming up for BritBox.
