Saturday the 5th of December 2020 is International Volunteers Day, where charities celebrate the vital roles played by people who give up their time to make a difference.
UK sight loss charity RNIB, could not provide it's wide range of vital services to it's blind and partially sighted customers without the generosity of it's huge band of volunteers.
RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Alison Thomson, from RNIB's Transcription team, and volunteer transcriber Paul to find out how the service helps blind and partially sighted people get documents, of all kinds, transcribed into their preferred formats.
