The UK charity Guide Dogs, has carried out some research into the barriers that will exist for blind and partially sighted people as lockdown eases.
There are concerns around the change of street layouts, ability to safely travel on public transport, reduced support from retailers and a downturn in the public's confidence in providing assistance to visually impaired people.
RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Pete Osborne from Guide Dogs to find out more about the research and the ways that people can give help without worrying about social distancing.
