Dr Marianne Coleman has been researching new methods to carry out eye checks with those with Dementia or Alzheimer's.

Her work has shown that if they receive correct sight diagnosis and recommendations to correct vision, their quality of life can be improved and help prevent trips and falls that could have a negative affect on their everyday lives.

RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Marianne to learn more about the research and how funding from Fight For Sight UK has allowed her to work in the sight loss research sector.
