The Big Connection is an annual programme of events that aim to bring people affected by sight loss together as well as help raise awareness of what it is like living with sight loss.

This year’s Big Connection will run from the 31st of May to 2nd of June, with events across all of UK brought to life with the help of our volunteers.

Bernice Horn, one of such volunteers spoke to RNIB Connect Radio’s Simon Pauley about all the activities she helped plan at her local event in Stoke-On-Trent and how they will help bring communities together.

All the events are open to visually impaired people as well as their friends and family.
