Presenter and blogger Lucy Edwards has now retired her faithful guide dog Olga and is now waiting on  a new 4 legged friend to maintain her confident, and independent, mobility.

However, due to the changing pandemic restrictions, The UK charity Guide Dogs has had it's training programme set back, creating extended waiting lists for new, and existing, guide dog owners.

RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Lucy and Pete Osborne, from Guide Dogs, to look at the causes of the delays and what the charity is doing to ramp up it's work.
