RNIB Northern Ireland and Guide Dogs Northern Ireland are collaborating on a brand new, Lottery funded, project called, Our Futures.
It is lead by, and for, blind and partially sighted children and young people from Northern Ireland.
The project will help them with transitions through education, employment, learn new technology and work to improve their surroundings and public attitudes to sight loss.
RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Rosaleen Dempsey, from RNIB Ni, and Nathan Hood, a blind service user, to learn more about the project, it's goals and who can take part.
