Thomas Binns runs The Guitar Social which he started as he believes that playing and learning guitar is more fun if you do it with other people.
 
Last week The Guitar Social in partnership with RNIB and The Drum broke the Guinness World Record for longest guitar lesson.
 
The successful attempt not only raised awareness with endorsement from musicians like Stevie Wonder and The Cure but also rose over £22,000 to help blind and partially sighted people learn how to play the guitar.  
 
Thomas spoke with RNIB Connect Radio’s Simon Pauley.
