Description:

Blind and partially sighted cricket is a massive sport around the globe with leagues, tournaments and world championships taking place. RNIB Scotland, Cricket Scotland and Glasgow City Council decided to put on a match with sighted and visually impaired players, to highlight the need to make sports venues, and sporting opportunities, easily accessible for people with sensory impairments. It also helped Glasgow City Councillors, the decision makers, gain an understanding of what they have to do to further improve accessibility across the city.
