Despite being visually impaired, Dave Smith has worked in a variety of roles from manufacturing to I T support and the police force. During this vocational journey he received a variety of training from the union, UNISON and became involved with equality rights. This allowed him to develop his skills to advise his employers on disability rights laws and to make the work place and employment practices inclusive.
