On the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack in New York, we hear Michael Hingson's story of his experience of the attack.

Michael's guide dog Roselle was asleep under his desk on the 78th floor in WTC1 when the attack happened. Roselle calmly helped Michael to the stairwell, despite the smoke, confusion and noise.

Hingson wrote a book of their experience entitled Thunder Dog: The True Story of a Blind Man, His Guide Dog, and the Triumph of Trust at Ground Zero.
