For Episode 3, I was fortunate enough to catch a dear friend and colleague, Kate Balestrieri, PsyD, CSAT for a conversation about sex addictions. From the publicized scandal of golf superstar Tiger Woods to the 2012 movie Thanks For Sharing with Mark Ruffalo, the idea of sex addiction has become increasingly familiar in pop culture, though very little is truly understood about this addiction, even within clinical communities. Kate walks us through her career in forensic psychology settings, and how that lead her to the current focus of her practice and her upcoming book.
