In Episode 06, I reconnect with Scott Pytluk, PhD, ABPP.  Dr. Pytluk has seen the genesis of my clinical psychology career, and was a significant source of mentoring for me professionally.  So we acknowledge that our discussion of psychoanalytic or psychodynamic principles we are not approaching the discussion from an unbiase d perspective.  Regardless, Dr. Pytluk’s knowledge of analytic theories, both modern and historical is extensive and rich, so I am grateful for the opportunity we had to sit down and discuss all that is known and believed to be known about this school of thought within psychology, including Dr. Freud himself.
