In 1987, Lou helped build Cohane Rafferty’s loan portfolio sales and advisory business, where he worked for 15 years until shortly after the firm’s acquisition by Lehman Brothers. Lou was then a founding member of the Keefe, Bruyette & Woods loan sales group (2002-04) prior to starting Garnet Capital. Lou is a leading figure in the marketplace for all types of whole loan asset trades. He has written for and been widely quoted in numerous industry publications including American Banker, The Financial Times (London), and Collections and Credit Risk. He is a frequent speaker at industry-sponsored events and has chaired Source Media’s National Credit Risk Conference.
