Description: On March 2, 2011 Terra Linda Elementary School held a fundraiser in honor of one of their own. ; Sam Day, 9, suffers from Ewing Sarcoma, a rare childhood bone cancer. Students, Portland police officers and the U of O Duck ran laps around the school to raise funds for the Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Sam Day is the son of Portland Police Commander Bob Day.
