In Good Pop Bad Pop Brian is talking about a few new movies he’s seen including Gemini Man, Jexi, Supersize Me 2: Holy Chicken!, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie and Memory: The Origins of Alien. Brian and Stephanie both talk about the new Netflix movie In The Tall Grass based on the novella by Stephen King and Joe Hill. For TV Brian and Jake discuss the new Genndy Tartakovsky animated series Primal on Adult Swim. Brian talks about Batwoman, Big Mouth Season 3 and Bless the Harts. Also, in TV Brian and Stephanie talk about the new Forest Whitaker series on EPIX where he plays a gangster named Bumpy Johnson who makes his way in Harlem during the 1960s. It’s a TV prequel to the 2007 film, ‘American Gangster’, which centered on the criminal enterprise of Frank Lucas.
In News we talk about a new poll that shows that many Netflix subscribers won’t be adding Disney+ or Apple TV+ subscriptions. We also talk about Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg re-teaming for another WWII project Masters of the Air.
In Marvel News there are rumblings that a Nova movie is in active development.
For Star Wars News we get into a ton of news and rumors from The Mandalorian to The Rise of Skywalker. Everything from Yoda’s species showing up to Kylo Ren’s possible redemption story. Tons of Star Wars News this week.
