American Modern Insurance Group reports that of the 60,400 motorcycles it insures, 570 were involved in crashes in August 2015 and 2016. Many of the motorcycle accident claims he sees are single bike accidents, according to Rick Drewry, a claims specialist for the insurer. He offered some reasons for the spike and explained why riders need to pay attention to road signs, speed and road conditions.
