Dianne brings a rich history of mixing it up with different cultures and experiences as VP of inclusion, diversity and belonging at Verisk. “My weekend wasn’t in the Hamptons,” she says about avoiding conversation in the break room early in her career. “It was eating good Caribbean food in styrofoam containers after a reggae concert.” Listen as Dianne outlines practical advice for how firms should approach DEI. This includes tying initiatives to business priorities, being pragmatic, incorporating strong communications, and measuring results for change and engagement levels. DEI cannot “sit in HR or legal,” she insists.
