As Invest, the insurance education program affiliated with the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America, or the Big “I,” turns 50 this year it is launching new strategic initiatives aimed at attracting and developing talent in the agency system. Invest Executive Director Deborah Pickford and current Big “I” Invest Chair Lindsey Shank say the organization is experiencing robust growth and is adapting its programming to address new learning styles, create earn-and-learn opportunities for newcomers to the industry, and attract a diverse talent population.
