Portland, Oregon… probably my favorite city I’ve ever lived in… in spite of the rain. I got a chance to fly up to Portland for a few days last week. Before the trip I kind of went back and forth, trying to decide on if I should take a film camera or just make things easier and shoot digital on this trip. I did end up taking a film camera, and man, I’m so glad I did.
A Few Shots from My Trip
I took my Leica M6, Summicron 35mm lens and shot all Fujifilm ACROS while I was there, all pushed to 400. Man, I will miss this film so much.
My daughter, Celeste, standing in front of the apartment building I mentioned in the podcast. My old apartment was the one on the third floor with the fire escape and the open window…. great place! Hawthorne Bridge, opened in 1910 – I used to ride my bike over this bridge all the time.
