After helplessly watching his friend, Anita, pass away from Multiple Myeloma (a form of blood cancer), Eric Gelber decided to do something about it. He has raised more than $1.3 million for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation by running numerous ultra-marathons around the country. In 2016 Eric completed his most epic adventure by running 200 miles around NYC’s Central Park. Eric and I discuss his relationship with the MMRF, the “200 Mile” documentary, and how he finds the strength to keep moving forward.
