Certain types of injuries have a strong correlation with
weight. Low Back and knee injuries come to the top of my
mind. This is especially common in weekend warriors.
Understandably most non-professionals do not have time or the
resources to address weight issues. People have busy lives...
I get it.
BUT, if you play your sport on your free time you should give
your joints a fighting chance. Extra weight can put you on
the sidelines before your expected timeline.
