The ideals of a citizen were laid out in Aristotle's "Nicomachaean Ethics" . . . and have been revived for a modern audience by Gwendolyn Reece in a talk she gave at the Parliament of the World's Religions! She joins me this morning to discuss how we can embody these citizenship qualities in our own lives. Hint: "Scholae" is a big part of this -- the time that is NOT preoccupied with the busyness of life. How you use your Scholae, determines your character.
