Karnit Mandel, a documentarian who specializes in archival work, talks about her new film, “Shalal: A Reel War,” which was recently aired on an Israeli national television channel. Mandel’s documentary examines the audiovisual material that was part of the Palestinian Liberation Organization’s archive in Beirut and was confiscated by the Israeli military during the 1982 Lebanon War.
