In Paleo Radio Bites episode 33 host Tony Federico interviews Legendary Life Podcast creator Ted Ryce about his Be the Change Movement Kickstarter campaign.

Ted Ryce is a motivational speaker, fitness expert, wellness coach and host of the Legendary Life podcast. He's based out of Miami Beach, and over the years he's worked with celebrities and businessmen like Richard Branson. It hasn't been all glitz and glamour though.

When Ted was 14, his mother died in a car accident, only a few years later, his younger brother Jimmy Ryce was kidnapped, raped and murdered in a high publicity case that led to the creation of the Jimmy Ryce foundation by Ted's father and step mother. The Jimmy Ryce foundation funds the training of bloodhounds to help law enforcement groups find missing people. The foundation is struggling however, and Ted's on a mission to keep the foundation, and it's mission alive.

Along with his partner Giselle Oliveira, Ted has launched a Kickstarter campaign called the Be The Change Movement. Be The Change supporters will receive tools to empower, inspire, and achieve their own personal goals and the money raised will help fund the Jimmy Ryce foundation. Currently, they are at $3,000 of an $8,000 goal. The way Kickstarter works is that if you don't reach your goal you don't get anything. There is about a week left in the fundraising drive, so if everyone listening to this only donated $5, about as much as you'd pay for a coconut milk coffee at Starbucks or kombucha at Whole Foods, The Be The Change Movement will reach it's goal.
