Description:

On this week’s episode we speak with Leo Vassershteyn, aka The Iron Lion. Leo is the owner, and personal trainer, at Iron Lion Gym in Mill Valley California and has degrees in Psychology and Exercise Biology from University of California Davis. Leo is passionate about functional primal movement and health and is a regular contributor to Paleo Magazine. Leo describes true primal movement as the developmental path of movement of the modern homosapien and offers up lessons on how to move and build strength with functional primal methods. You may also recognize him as the guy that’s always swinging those crazy maces around.

Today we catch up with Leo live from Paleo f(x), which was held in Austin earlier this year, where we chat about everything from crawling to the Russian swing, Cossack squats, kettlebells, CrossFit, and why we might be moving all wrong. If you are looking to incorporate primal movement into your training, correct bad habits, restore balance, or explore new-ancient methods, then this episode is for you!
