Show 263: The Job Interview Process

Category: Technology
Duration: 00:00:00
Publish Date: 2015-11-13 08:30:10
Description:

The Packet Pushers take a break from tech to share perspectives on interviewing for a job. The job interview can be a nerve-wracking experience. They talk about how to prepare and discuss what an interviewer is really thinking.

Greg and Ethan are joined by Keith McGlon, a network engineer at a service provider; and Joseph Warren, a recruiter with 15 years’ experience. They discuss the importance of preparation, including researching the company where you’re interviewing. It’s very helpful to understand the company’s business, its history, and its direction.

They also talk about interview questions, both technical and non-technical, and offer preparation tips.
