Because network infrastructure belongs to the cloud provider, you can’t just plug in a tap and start capturing packets like you would on your premises network.

Instead, a CloudLens agent runs in a container in the customer’s instance, grabs the packets, and passes them along to other tools for analysis. A management service can coordinate and manage multiple agents as the solution scales up.
