In July, the Supreme Court ruled that the eastern half of Oklahoma is Native American land. In the ruling, the justices said they were keeping the promise the government made to the Native Americans. But a hidden provision is allowing the state to keep control of the environmental regulations that rule over oil and coal plants. POLITICO’s Alex Guillen explains.
