He went on what he thought was going to be his last tour only to discover that he had been given the wrong diagnosis. Alex Lewis was a fulltime dad to his young son while his partner Lucy ran a pub. In 2013 Alex caught an infection that felt a lot like flu and within weeks he had lost all his limbs. The truly remarkable thing about Alex is that he says the experience has been 'brilliant'.
