PC unpacks how God appoints a set man to lead his covenant people in every generation so that they may receive teaching and walk in the benefits and blessings of the covenant. When the set man does not take his place, the people of God become like sheep without a shepherd. When Jesus began his public ministry, the people were harassed and helpless like sheep without a shepherd because the set man positions of authority were taken up by Pharisees who did not know God. Unfortunately, the church faces a similar situation right now. |
