Welcome back to Nerdificent and Happy Black History Month! All throughout February we'll be celebrating Black companies, characters, and leaders in the Nerd World starting with Milestone Comics! Milestone Comics was a Black owned and created comic book company that sought to make comics that capture the complexities of Black life. Capturing all of those nuances, subtleties and complexities allowed an opportunity for young Black readers to see their lives reflected in super heroes.
