Taste of the Week

July 28, 2025

Welcome to… Taste of the Week!

And just like that, July is winding down, but summer’s still in full swing!

This week at Heritage Radio Network, we’re heading across the pond to launch a brand-new show and celebrating our current ones!

Plus, we’re sneaking in a little vacay across the canal for baguettes, wine, and a whole lot of l’amour.

Come see what’s cooking at HRN, because the future of food starts with a story!

Introducing:

Food FM: The Drink Hour with David Kermode

FOOD FM From Stephanie to Chefanie
Listen to HRN’s Newest Show, in Partnership with Food FM!

Hosted by David Kermode, a journalist, writer, and broadcaster with over two decades of experience across print, online, TV, radio, and a lifelong love of food and wine.

His work has appeared in The Buyer, Harpers, Waitrose Magazine, and on his own site, vinosaurus.co.uk. David is also a familiar voice on LBC, BBC radio, and a drinks expert on ITV’s This Morning.

The Drinking Hour is a podcast that brings relaxed, unpretentious, and engaging conversation to the world of wine and spirits—whether you’re a casual sipper or a seasoned collector.

Launched in partnership with Club Oenologique, the show explores the world through the lens of what we drink, offering a smart yet approachable guide to bottles worth discovering.

From award-winning wines to the people and stories behind them, The Drinking Hour is an essential pour for anyone curious about what to drink and why.
