Welcome to… Taste of the Week!

Pop a bottle—it’s time to celebrate!
It’s been an exciting week at Heritage Radio Network, filled with new shows and a James Beard nomination! Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.
We are incredibly proud of our ability to craft strong, educational, and entertaining food-focused storytelling. None of this would be possible without our amazing hosts and the unwavering support of our community.
Today, we celebrate all we’ve achieved and look ahead to even greater things at HRN!

Introducing:

Copper & Heat Radio

Copper & Heat Radio

Welcome to the HRN Family, Copper & Heat Radio!

Praised by The New York Times as a “deep dive into the exclusionary traditions around gender, identity, and femininity in fine-dining kitchens,” Copper & Heat Radio is a two-time James Beard Award-winning podcast that explores the forces shaping our meals through immersive, thought-provoking audio stories.

Primarily released as thematic seasons, past seasons have tackled topics such as the exclusionary traditions around gender in fine-dining kitchens and dissected the concepts of value and craft in the food industry.

Congratulations on their 2025 James Beard nomination for co-producing Loading Dock Talks with Chef Preeti Mistry!

Meat + Three

Until We Meet Again : Meat + Three Season Finale

After launching in 2009 and running for an incredible 17 seasons, our beloved educational program, Meat + Three, is wrapping up—for now.

Over the past six months, our team, as well as the rest of the country, has experienced a lot of grief and heartache. This shared experience brought us into conversations about how food can act as an intimate and integral part of mourning.

The stories in this episode include a visit to a temple to explore how food, ritual, and memory come together, a talk with a death doula, the recipes that remind us to connect with the ones who are still here—as well as a few familiar ones from seasons past.

Stick around until the end of the episode for a special conversation between Hosts and Executive Producers H Conley and Taylor Early, a love note, if you will, to Meat + Three and the community of storytellers who have contributed to the airwaves over the past seasons!
