On July 28, 1977, 12-year-old shoeshine boy Emanuel Jaques was lured into a filthy apartment above a massage parlour where he was gang-raped, tortured, and murdered. Forty years later, author Robert J. Hoshowsky joins Lee in the ‘Dive Bar’ to discuss this crime which shook Toronto to its core.
