The weekend began on a dark note as Luis Salom tragically lost his life in an accident during Free Practice 2. The Catalan GP continued on with a revised track layout, all the riders out to honour the memory of their friend and former rival. Just like the riders Harry and Dave, who were in the same room for once, talk about the positives of the weekend. The racing world was stretched to its limits this weekend but fortunately the family which makes motorsport so special pulled together and put aside their differences.
