'America's Mayor' and Current Trump Attorney, Rudy Giuliani, appeared on NBC's 'Meet The Press,' on Sunday and wove a veritable tapestry of falsehoods and misguided statements, much to the disbelief of host, Chuck Todd, culminating with the assertion that "truth isn't truth," referring to the subjective validity of what the President may say in a testimony with Robert Mueller. Giuliani went on to allege that Donald Trump Jr. may not have known if the Russian spy he and other members of President Trump's campaign met with at Trump Tower in 2016 was Russian. In emails to Trump Jr., however, it was revealed he knew that the woman he had met with was the "crown prosecutor of Russia," and "part of Russia and its government support." Joe, joined by Jon Meacham, Joyce White Vance and Andrea Mitchell, break down the President's and Rudy Giuliani's troubled and tattered relationship with the concept of "the truth," and how it plays into the larger picture of the Mueller Investigation. Also, this morning, we'll bring you the latest on the concluding days of the trial of Paul Manafort as jury deliberations continue in Alexandria, Virginia. Law Professor at George Washington University Jonathan Turley joins the table to discuss the possibility of a hung jury instead of a guilty verdict. It's Monday, August 20, 2018. Welcome to Morning Joe.
