	Description:		The nation's top intelligence officials, including FBI Director Christopher Wray and Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, convened in the White House Press Briefing Room to reiterate the still-existing threat of Russian meddling in the upcoming Midterm Elections. The elections, just 95 days away, are proving especially intimidating for members of the GOP who have bolstered their image on the rhetoric of President Donald Trump. President Trump, last night at a rally in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, continued with his pro-Putin mantra, praising Russian President Vladimir Putin and the productive meeting that they had in Helsinki. The President was, later at that same rally, quoted saying that "Russia is very unhappy that Trump won;" however, on July 16, at the Helsinki Summit, President Putin went on-record saying he did want Trump to win the 2016 election. Also making headlines: White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders repeatedly dodged and weaved through questions by the press regarding the President's "media is the enemy of the people" sentiment. Ivanka Trump, yesterday in an interview with Axios' Mike Allen, denied that the press is the "enemy of the people," going against her father's statements. Today is Friday, August 3, 2018.
