Over the course of just one news-day, Current Trump Attorney Rudy Giuliani opened speculation about a second, "pre-meeting meeting" with Russians before the infamous 2016 Trump Tower meeting, then flatly denied it, and then, on 'Hannity,' said that the meeting taking place was "highly unlikely." Giuliani covered his bases with Sean Hannity, following up by saying that, as a lawyer, he "[always] has to leave the option open," just in case the probe found "something." The original reporting of a second meeting came to light in the form of a story, allegedly to be published by The New York Times. Giuliani, along with Jay Sekulow -- another Trump lawyer -- attempted to kill the story which named Donald Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, Rick Gates and Jared Kushner as being in attendance with Russian officials for an unreported second time. Paul Manafort, in the news again, this morning, is set to begin his trial today with initial jury selection -- making him the first high-ranking Trump campaign official to face Robert Mueller's prosecution. Manafort is, so far, charged with both tax and bank fraud. And, finally, President Trump has offered to meet with Iranian leaders at "anytime they want." This comes on the heels of the President's particularly harsh and capitalized tweet threatening Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, and the United States' very public withdrawal from the Iran Nuclear Deal.
